With FREE POWER’s new catchphrase
「Fun & Smile」

and a motto to “Make your daily cycling life more fun and full of smiles”, a new store was born to allow customers to choose their perfect bike in a relaxed environment.

Slope

The store is fully equipped with a slope for test rides and a new sensation – gear assists don’t need batteries. You can experience the effects of FREE POWER to the fullest.

The test ride slope is at an incline of 7%.
There are three types of FREE POWER silicone: soft, medium, and hard. You can keep trying it out until you’re satisfied with the hardness of the silicone.
The point is to choose a silicone that is light, swift, and feels the most comfortable for you in terms of pedaling.

Fun

Besides the test ride course, we also have an exercise bike set up for you to feel the difference between FREE POWER and normal gears as well as a Zwift bike hooked to a bicycle trainer stand so that you can enjoy riding in a virtual space like that of an online game.

History

Here we have displays that explain the story leading to the birth of FREE POWER and its mechanisms, along with a number of prototypes that tell the history, literally a “bicycle revolution.”

Lineup

At the FREE POWER store in Kokubunji, we deal with exclusive bikes such as Bridgestone and Lightway as well as our original FREE POWERed bikes.

Of course, all models in store are equipped with FREE POWER, and the gear color (silver or black) and silicone hardness can be changed according to your preference.

Accessory

We deal with selected accessory parts, allowing you to customize your own unique bike with a different saddle and grip.

Repair & Service

You can also install FREE POWER to the bike you’re currently riding. (except for some models.)
If you bring your own bike, our staff will be able to give you an estimate for the installation, the installation fee will be 3000 yen before tax. (A separate FREE POWER fee will be charged; installation estimates are free.)

Not only do we do repair procedures, FREE POWER installations and silicone replacements for our customers, but we also do repairs for bikes purchased at other stores.
Please feel free to bring in your bike.

Our FREE POWERed models displayed in the store window near the entrance might be for sale in the future!? Although not available for purchase yet, our FREE POWERed “Dream Bike” for maximum comfort is now under development. Please stay tuned for future exciting updates at our FREE POWER store!

Relax & Cafe

Our store has a green space with sofas for customers to relax and choose their bikes at their own pace. Feel free to come with your family and friends. We’ve also prepared a cafe space where you can read books on bikes and have free coffee. We welcome you to give them a try.
